Meteorites are extra-terrestrial debris from comets, asteroids, and ejecta from other planets that survived their passage thru the atmosphere of our planet. Meteorites can be divided into three basic categories: Stony meteorite, iron meteorites, and stony-iron meteorites. Meteorites can be found around the world due to the fact the the earth is under constant bombardment by them.
Tektites, are gravel-sized bodies of terrestrial glass formed during meteoric impacts. They can be black, brown, green, yellow or grey depending on the elements that fuse with them.
