Description
This Massive Acheulean hand Axe/chopper dates back to the age of HOMO erectus. Its coarse napping is a testament to its age. This artifact is of of the largest we've seen, it is beautifully patinated from being buried the Sahara desert sand for thousands of years. This tool may have been used as a throwing weapon for hunting animals at watering holes. Because of its unusually large size, this tool may have also been used for gardening.
