This stunning Heteromorph Ammonite has been custom mounted on a beautiful metal stand. This ammonite is in excellent condition with only minor restoration.This specimen was hand-picked for it's quality and uniqueness. This specimen is ideal as a center piece or for interior decor.
Ammonites were prehistoric nautilus related to the extant nautilus, cuttlefish, and octopus family. The grew up to 6' in diameter building large living chambers to their shell in a spiral fashion.
