Description
Pyrite is made up of iron Sulfide (FeS2) it crystallizes in perfectly formed cubes. These pyrites are from “Navajun”, Spain; they were formed during the Mesozoic Era, at the end of the Jurassic period, approximately 120 million years ago.
They originated within the sediments of a large delta that covered the Cameros Sierra. The precise shape of these cubes, and the beautiful natural finish makes them a highly sought after mineral in the collector’s market.
