Description
Polished fossil coral bowl made from "Actinocyathus" coral which was a colony rugose coral from the Pennsylvanian period (318-299 Million years ago) It was collected in the Sahara desert in Morocco. The polishing brings out the beautiful detail and color of the in the inner structure of the coral. This fossil coral bares some resemblance to the "petosky stone" from Michigan.
