Description
This tooth belonged to a Mosasaur which was a prehistoric marine reptile from the Cretaceous period. It was a serpentine marine reptile with four large flippers and a powerful tail which it also used for propulsion.
This tooth is in great condition featuring great color and detail, it is set in a sterling silver cap.
Dimensions: 1 1/8" L x 3/4" W (including silver cap)
Provenance: Khouribgha phosphate mines, Morocco.
Age: Cretaceous period: 146-65.5 MYO
