Description
Moldavite is a forest green, olive green, or blue greenish vitreous silica projectile rock formed by a meteorite impact in the Chzech republic. Moldavite is a type of tektite. It was introduced to the public in 1786. It it believed that Moldavite was formed about 14.7 Million years ago during an impact of a giant meteorite in present-day Nordlinger Ries Crater.
This is a fine example of a beautiful moldavite specimen. It features the beautiful texture an deep green color.
