Own a truly extraordinary piece of the Cretaceous period with this massive 8.25" Suchomimus claw fossil—the largest and most complete specimen we've ever offered. This exceptional fossil comes from Niger, West Africa. The name "Cuchomimums" means "Crocodile mimic", reflecting its elongated, crocodile-like snout. This Spinosaurid Theropod dinosaur measured about 11 meters (36 feet) in length and weighed around 3.6 metric tons. Its conical teeth and skull structure suggest a diet primarily consisting of fish, indicating piscivorous feeding habits. Fossils of Suchomimus have been discovered in the Elrhaz formation of Niger, providing valuable insights into the diversity of predatory dinosaurs in the ancient African ecosystems.
