Carcharodontosaurus was a gigantic carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous period. It was as large or larger than Tyrannosaurus-rex. It grew up to 11.1-13.5 meters (36-44 feet) and may have weighed up to 2.9 metric tons. Carcharodontosauarus was a bipedal carnivore with strong hind legs for sprinting after its prey, it had long large skull 1.6 meters (5.2 ft) and massive bone-cushing jaws filled with serrated teeth which may have reached 8" long.
