Description
This tooth Belonged to a Carcharodontosaurus Saharicus dinosaur. Carcharodontosaurus was a gigantic carnivorous dinosaur that lived during the Cretaceous period. It was as large or larger than Tyrannosaurus-rex. It grew up to 11.1-13.5 meters (36-44 feet) and may have weighed up to 2.9 metric tons. Carcharodontosauarus was a bipedal carnivore with strong hind legs for sprinting after its prey, it had long large skull 1.6 meters (5.2 ft) and massive bone-cushing jaws filled with serrated teeth which may have reached 8" long.
This tooth is in good condition with only minor restoration. Much of the original enamel and serration are still present.
