Description

This tooth belonged to a Spinosaurus Marocannus dinosaur. Spinosaurus was a large Spiny carnivorous dinosaur from the Cretaceous period. It had a large  a large dorsal sail-like structure or fin that was made up of large spines ranging up to 2 meters (7ft) in length, these spines may have been connected by a tough skin. Some theories suggest that Spinosaurus used this structure for themo-regulation and/or mating rituals and display. Spinosaurus  was the largest of all known carnivorous dinosaurs, even larger than T-Rex, it may have reached 16-18 meters or (52-59 ft) in length, and may have weighed 7-9 tonnes.
